A command button is a control button that can be found all over SAP, on many screens inside the system. When pressed, it causes an action in SAP Business One.
The following table explains the most common SAP Business One command buttons:
Button | Description |
---|---|
Add | Adds a new record to the database, for example, business partner master data, or sales and purchasing documents. |
OK | Approves a setting or a change, and closes the window. |
Cancel | Cancels an action or a change, and closes the window. |
Update | Saves changed data. For example, you can update business partner or employee records, or item details. |
Select All | Selects all the checkboxes in a window. The button usually appears in the Selection Criteria window of a report. |
Clear Selection | Deselects all the selected checkboxes in a window. |
Expand | Shows more details of certain data in a window. |
Collapse | Hides certain data in a window. |
Next | In a wizard, enables you to proceed to the next window. |
Back | In a wizard, enables you to return to the previous window. |
Finish | In a wizard, enables you to finish entering data and to complete or exit the wizard. |
